Recipe: Grandma Brown’s Chicken Salad

This recipe is so tasty and delicious! I like to use this when we are traveling.

  • 4 cups cubed or shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Mix and marinate the first five ingredients overnight.
  • 1 can mandarin oranges 4 oz.
  • 1 15 oz. can pineapple
  • ½ cup almonds
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cups halved grapes 
 The next morning add the rest of the ingredients. You can serve this on lettuce or as a wrap. This stores well for a few days if kept cold.
