This was one of my favorite dinners growing up. It is a great way to make a little hamburger go a little farther!
1/2 lb Hamburger
1 egg
chopped onions
Bread Crumbs (I blend 2 slices or bread in the blender)
Mix together well.
On a flour covered cutting board, smash hamburger mixture into serving sized patties.
On the stove, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a frying pan. Brown flour covered paties. Then place them in a crock pot.
Sauce:
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup Beef Broth
Mix together & pour over paties. Cook in crock pot for on low for 3 hours. Serve with baked potato
You can also bake this in the oven with the baked potatoes for 45 min. to 1 hr. Since there are only 2 of us, we make our baked potatoes in the microwave to save time & energy.
