I made pancakes yesterday morning for Easter. Since I didn’t have any whole wheat flour ground I made my next favorite recipe. My husband ended up with a big stack on his plate and wanted to share the photo with you. He was a hungry man yesterday!
Sour Milk Pancakes
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
4 Tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cups buttermilk/sourmilk
If you don’t have sourmilk/buttermilk add 1 Tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice. Dissolve soda in milk, stir in eggs. Add sugar and salt, then beat in flour a little at a time. Add butter mix, then add baking powder. Pour on hot lightly greased griddle. Enjoy!
