Hootenanies

by Natasha on April 12, 2010

My boys love these! They’d probably eat them for every meal if I’d let them! We call them Hootenannies, but you might have heard them called German Pancakes or Popeye Pancakes too.  Enjoy!

Hootenannies
                                1/2 cup flour                 4 Tbsp. Butter/Margarine
                                1/2 cup milk                  3 eggs

In a square 8×8 pan melt the butter in the over at 350 degrees. Mix the other ingredients in the blender, after the butter is melted pour the blender mixture into the pan and bake about 25 mintues. You will know when it’s done when it starts puffing up really big! It will fall once it’s taken out of the oven. Eat with syrup and enjoy-see how I make my own homeade syrup here.
