Mandarin Chicken

A friend, Liz Burdette, gave me this recipe many years ago and happen to be a favorite of mine. It can be cooked in a crockpot or on the stove.

1 package Chicken Tenders or 2 full Chicken Breast
6 11 oz. cans mandarin Oranges (I only use 3 for crock pot and 2 for stove top)
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 whole cloves or a dash of cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup ketchup
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspon mustard

Mix together in and cook in crock pot for about 5 hours, more time if chicken is frozen. Serve over Rice. For stove top recipe, I added 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch. Sometimes I also add pineapple.
