Separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add half of the sugar to the egg whites. Beat egg yolks then add remaining sugar to yolks. FOLD in egg yolks to egg whites. Next fold in vanilla and sift in dry ingredients. DO NOT over mix. Pour into 10×15 cookies sheet lined with wax paper. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 mintues.
Remove from oven and let cool for 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on dish towel. Place cake on towel. Remove wax paper. Let cool to lukewarm and roll loosely. Let cool completely.

Unroll and add sliced ice cream. Carefully and loosely roll back up again. Freeze until ready to eat.
