Taco Soup – A Quick Winter Meal

I love a hot bowl of soup for dinner on a cold winter day!  Taco soup is one of my favorite quick, easy soup recipes.

Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground hamburger
1 can corn (or 1 cup frozen corn)
1 can kidney beans (about 1 cup cooked beans)
1 can diced tomatoes (1 cup)
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2- 3/4 packet Taco Seasoning (to taste)
Brown hamburger.  Add onions and let them cook together.  Once meat is fully cooked, add tomatoes, beans, corn, and bring to a simmer.  Add taco seasoning to taste.

Serve with tortilla chips and cheese as desired.  Serves 3-4 adults.
