A family friend gave my mom this recipe. I think it sounds delicious. I am excited to give it a try.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Karo syrup (or you can use maple syrup)
3/4 cup brown sugar
12 pieces bread
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. Cinnamon
9 eggs
Directions:
Melt butter in bottom of a 9×13 pan. Add brown sugar, Karo and cinnamon. Mix well.
Cut each slice of bread into 3 strips. Stack in pan 2 high.
Beat eggs, add milk & mix well. Pour over bread.
Refrigerate over night. (or cover with plastic wrap & tinfoil and freeze)
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Flip over to serve.
