One of my favorite parts of camping is the delicious food. I love dutch oven cooking. This is my Dad’s favorite dutch oven breakfast.
Ingredients:
(you can do more or less of each item depending on the # of people. This is to feed 4)
1/4 lb Bacon (5 or 6 slices)
4 Eggs
1/4 lb Sausage
2 medium potatoes
1/2 cup Cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
Directions:
Cut bacon into small pieces. Start sausage and bacon cooking over grill.
Let the meat cook for about 10 minutes. Then add the potatoes and onions.
Scramble the eggs. When the potatoes are tender (around 15 min.), add the eggs. Turn off heat and stir. They will cook really fast. Add cheese on top and let it melt.
Serve hot.
