Total Paid $26.89
Total Saved $272.08
Leftover RR’s $26.75, ECBs $17.63, & two FREE Redbox rentals
Whew! I spent a few hours this morning at CVS and Walgreens working the Thanksgiving deals. It was lots of fun! I ended up with lots of great things including a few stocking stuffers, toiletries, medicine, and my personal favorite Welch’s Sparkling Juice!
The best part of it all although I spend $16.89 out of pocket I have $46.38 in RR’s, ECBs, and Redbox codes to use at a later date for whatever I want-with the exception of the two FREE movies which I’ll be watching tonight! It’s like I was paid $19.49 to purchase everything pictured above!
I did have a few mistakes which were voided and or refunded. I also paid $1.00 more because one Jell-O coupon didn’t come off but I’m not going to complain about that. I was able to find everything in the store that I needed although I did grab the last softlips at CVS-they will substitute another item so just ask!
I am thankful for shopping trips like these that help me stock my cupboards for FREE. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving day and are able to find lots of great deals this weekend!

You did fantastic!!! I love it when I see great hauls like this on Black Friday. I did not go all out, and I was not in the shopping spirit at all, but I did make it to CVS. My son was sick and so was I, so I just wanted to get home as soon as possible, and I therefore decided just to do one big transaction.
I would like to invite you to link up your savings at the Weekly Savings Linky @ Frugality Is Free .
I’m new at trying to figure out this couponing thing. So what does RR’s mean and how to you get them?
RR stands for Register Reward. It is a cash back program at Walgreens. When you purchase select sales items, a Register Reward prints out. It a coupon that is good on your next purchase at Walgreens. There are certain rules that apply. Check out our Walgreens Shopping guide for more info on shopping at Walgreens, and let us know if you have any more questions!
Wow! Awesome shopping this week. Thanks for sharing at Pounds4Pennies!
